What's New in Luuk 2.0: Escrow 2.0, Offer Stacks & Instant Payouts
Every feature in this release was requested by sellers and buyers who told us exactly what was slowing them down. We listened to 2,400 pieces of feedback, prioritised the ones that came up most often and cost users the most money, and shipped. Here's what's in Luuk 2.0.
Escrow 2.0: Faster releases, smarter disputes
The original escrow system held funds for 48 hours after delivery confirmation before releasing to sellers. Sellers hated this — it meant cash flow gaps even after completing perfect transactions.
Escrow 2.0 releases funds in 4 hours after buyer confirmation for sellers with a rating above 4.5★ and more than 10 completed orders. New sellers still operate on the 48-hour window while they build their track record. Dispute resolution now uses video evidence from both parties and resolves in under 24 hours for 90% of cases (down from 72 hours).
Offer Stacks: Bundle deals, one tap
Sellers can now create bundle offers directly in the app. Set a "buy 2, save 10%" or "buy any 3 items for ₦X" offer and it automatically applies at checkout. No more negotiating bundles manually in the comment section. Sellers who tested this in beta saw a 28% increase in average order value.
Instant Payouts (for verified sellers)
Verified sellers — those who have completed KYC, have 20+ completed orders, and a rating above 4.6★ — can now request instant payout at any time, not just at the end of the weekly cycle. ₦50 fee per instant withdrawal. Funds arrive in your bank account within 15 minutes, 24/7 including weekends and public holidays.
How to qualify for instant payoutsComplete KYC verification in Settings → Verification. Reach 20 completed orders. Maintain a rating of 4.6★ or above. That's it — no application, no waiting period once you hit all three.
Video Analytics Dashboard
Every seller now has access to a per-video analytics dashboard: views, average watch time, saves, shares, order conversions, and revenue attributed to each video. For the first time, you can see exactly which videos are making you money and which are being skipped.
Buyer: Saved Searches & Price Drop Alerts
Save any search query and get notified when new listings match it. Set a target price on any item and get notified if the seller drops their price or a similar item lists at or below your target. Buyers in beta reported finding items 60% faster with saved searches active.

In the next release: live selling (sellers can go live and take orders in real-time), group buying (buyers can combine orders for bulk pricing), and Luuk Pay (a wallet that earns interest on your balance between purchases).
